The Office Fit-out Process

  • Client Briefing

    An initial client briefing will allow us to create a focused brief based on your wish-list, budget and timescale.  It allows us to get a feel for your company, working environment and aspirations for the future. These will help direct us towards a creative, appropriate and realistic draft design.

  • Site Survey

    We’ll carry out a full site survey to ensure that we have an accurate layout of the space we are to work with.  This is essential not only for office space planning purposes but for all the associated trades and specialists carrying out the fit-out work. First hand surveys allow us to iron out any potential difficulties with the fabric of the building, so that our draft designs integrate smoothly.

  • Space Planning & Design

    Our expert space planners will look at how your teams work together in order to design layouts which maximise efficient use of space.  Factors such as  contemporary furniture solutions; configuration and design of offices and meeting rooms; lighting schemes and acoustic solutions can make a very noticeable difference.

  • Building Control & Planning

    Generally, internal and external development will require permission either from a landlord or council. The COEL office design team has broad experience in current legislation.  They will also work in partnership with local authority building control departments.

  • Project Management

    Each office fit-out is overseen by a dedicated Project Manager. They will be your point of contact throughout and will be on hand every step of the way.  Their expertise in planning, organising and managing all types of fit-out project ensures that everything runs smoothly. They will handle any queries or issues which arise and ensure they are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

  • Handover

    Excellent project management, an experienced & skilled team and ongoing communication ensure that your fit-out project is completed to a high standard, on time and to your complete satisfaction.
